We are seeking an experieced manufacturing and production person to join my clients busy quality team. 

•              Support the production team in the day to day operation of the mould shop, and automated production plan ensuring tasks are completed within allocated timescale and that work is planned to the best utilise capacity.

•              To maintain and develop quality systems throughout the factory operations ensuring that the highest standards of product quality are maintained.

•              Approves finished products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, returning products for re-work and confirming re-work.

•              Regularly update the QA engineer on pending actions, completed project or any quality related production issues.

•              Review and perform RCA on suspect parts.

•              Report on processes that are proven to be troublesome or unproductive.

•              Conduct ISIR on components as requested by QA engineer.

•              Day to day production verification tasks including life testing and wall testing following documented procedures.

•              Perform moulding checks as per documentation and technical drawings. 

•              Liaise with production on any quality issues that arise and agree actions to move forward maintain written records outlining decisions and action agreed.

•              Conducting and coordination of goods inwards inspection (IQC).

•              Conducting of AQL sampling plans.

•              Write programmes for Vertex measurement machine, as and when required.

•              Identify on a continuous basis, trends and themes from production lines failures.

•              Undertake any ad-hoc projects as requested and any other associated tasks that are deemed reasonable.

•              Quality Control analysis and program set up.

This client works rotating shifts so you must be prepared to work earlies and lates (earlies 0655-1455 and lates 1445 - 2245) Monday to Friday. Previous experience in quality beneficial but good PC skills essential
