About the Role:
Are you a motivated individual with a passion for engineering looking to progress your career in manufacturing? We are recruiting an experienced Machine Setter for an established manufacturing company in Malvern, this role would be suitable for a multi-skilled individual with experience producing precision parts coming from either a Manual Machining, Process Engineering or general Machine Setting background.
Key Responsibilities:
- Learn and work on various bespoke machines and lines, working closely with the operations and production manager to understand setting routines
- Focus on advancing process improvements
- Ensure health, safety, cleanliness, and security of the work environment is maintained
- Operate any machinery within the workshop and be willing to help in different areas if necessary
Key Skills Required:
- Worked in a Manufacturing or Engineering environment, with relatable experience
- Knowledge of Quality Control Systems and Health & Safety at work
- A familiarity with SMED and route cause analysis
- A background dealing with glass and an understanding of the safety issues that come with handling such materials are desirable
