NXTGEN are working on an exciting opportunity for a Project Accountant to deliver a focused project as a Project Accountant on a 4-week contract. This fully onsite role is ideal for a Project Accountant who can transition the Group's month-end consolidation and reporting process, ensuring a smooth and automated approach for ongoing use.

The Group consists of three trading entities, alongside five non-trading entities that manage various debt and equity instruments within Excel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Outline and document the month-end consolidation process.
  • Build a robust workbook with appropriate checks and balances to aid in the calculation and tracking of consolidation journals.
  • Enable the Group to report consolidated figures at multiple levels across the business structure.
  • Automate the ongoing postings and ensure a smooth handover to the existing finance team.
About You:
  • Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA preferred, CIMA considered).
  • Strong technical accounting background, with proven Group consolidation experience
  • Previous success in delivering similar transition projects independently.
  • Advanced Excel skills, with a focus on automation and reporting efficiencies.
