NXTGEN are working on an exciting opportunity for a Project Accountant with a strong statutory accounting background to lead a critical Group consolidation project on a 4-week contract.

This fully onsite role is ideal for a Qualified Accountant with hands-on experience in statutory consolidations and reporting, ensuring a seamless and automated month-end process for the Group.

The Group consists of multiple trading entities and non-trading entities, managing various debt and equity instruments within Excel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and document a structured, statutory-compliant month-end consolidation process.
  • Develop a robust Excel-based consolidation model with appropriate checks and balances.
  • Enable accurate consolidated reporting at multiple levels across the Group structure.
  • Automate consolidation postings to streamline ongoing reporting.
  • Ensure a smooth transition and handover to the finance team.
About You:
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA or ACCA)
  • Strong technical accounting expertise, particularly in Group consolidations and statutory reporting.
  • Proven experience delivering similar transition projects independently.
  • Advanced Excel skills, with a focus on automation and financial modelling.
