- Assisting the Head Chef in the running of a busy kitchen including taking the lead in the Head Chefs absence
- Maintain rigorous standards of food quality, safety and hygiene
- Assist in overseeing food purchasing, stock management and cost control
- Managing cleanliness of kitchen equipment and facilities
- Collaborating with department heads, ensuring the smooth operation of all functions.
- Developing the team and providing ongoing support and training
- Experience as a Sous Chef in a fresh food environment
- Knowledge and compliance with all Health and Safety, licensing laws and food safety.
