Their clients span industries such as manufacturing, logistics and haulage. With projects across the UK, provide expert consultation, design, and installation services for businesses seeking to optimise their storage and operational space.

They are now seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with a strong background in pallet racking, mezzanine flooring, and warehouse solutions. As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving new business, nurturing existing client relationships, and identifying opportunities to expand our service offerings.

Business Development Manager

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, focusing on pallet racking, mezzanine flooring, and complete warehouse fit-out solutions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including warehouse managers, operations managers, and procurement teams
  • Conduct site visits to assess client needs, present solutions, and provide technical advice on optimising warehouse space and improving operational efficiency
  • Develop and deliver tailored proposals, quotations, and presentations based on client specifications and requirements
  • Work closely with the design and project management teams to ensure proposed solutions align with client expectations and industry regulations
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to the overall growth and profitability of the company
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions to position our solutions competitively
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities to promote our services and generate leads

Business Development Manager

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Business Development Manager with a background in mezzanine flooring, pallet racking, and warehouse solutions
  • In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, storage solutions, mezzanine flooring, and pallet racking
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and provide consultative advice on storage optimisation and warehouse layout.
  • Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets through proactive business development and relationship-building.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders at all levels.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule between office-based and on-site work.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites across the UK.
