Our client, a specialist manufacturing organisation, is recruiting for a Project Manager for their site in Suffolk.   • Overseeing individual projects from development to production, ensuring adherence to the Project Management process map.
  • Coordinating with department managers to allocate necessary resources, including design, CAD, prototypes, and factory labour in accordance with project requirements.
  • Producing cost estimates using the NAV costing system, maintain or improve project profit margins, and escalate issues to the Head of Projects.
  • Selecting and manage subcontract suppliers, place purchase orders after reviewing inventory, and monitor the progress of orders in collaboration with goods inwards.
  • Compiling and hand over Health & Safety documentation, ensure compliance with Quality Assurance procedures, and participate in stock takes as needed.
Project Manager Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
  • You have previous experience in a similar role.
  • You possess a technical background and knowledge of varying manufacturing methods.
  • You are able to work to strict deadlines and manages multiple projects.
  • You hold a relevant project management qualification (desirable, not essential).
