A fast-paced, family-owned business experiencing exciting growth. As they continue to expand, they are seeking a dedicated and experienced SHEQ Manager to join our team. This is a stand-alone role with 100% accountability and responsibility for the site's Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (SHEQ) standards, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and ISO standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full responsibility for the site's Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards.
- Manage and maintain ISO 9001 and 14001 compliance across the site.
- Lead and conduct internal audits, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety are met.
- Monitor, report, and drive improvements in health, safety, quality, and environmental performance.
- Provide guidance and support on SHEQ issues to the management team, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety procedures and protocols.
- Coordinate and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations.
Qualifications & Experience:
- NEBOSH qualified.
- Experience in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
- Environmental IEMA qualification is ideal.
- Experience in the Manufacturing sector is essential; Highways experience would be highly advantageous.
- A proactive approach to managing Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality processes.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
