Job Title: Project Assistant (Landscape & BNG)

Location: Kentford

Salary:£22,000 - £25,000 per year, depending on experience

About Us:
We are a small environmental consultancy specializing in arboriculture, ecology and landscape consultancy for a variety of development projects. Our mission is to simplify the obtaining of planning permission for our clients.

Role Overview:
We are looking for a Project Support Assistant to provide administrative and technical support to our landscape technician and BNG consultant. This role is ideal for a proactive, organized individual who thrives in a detail-oriented environment and is eager to learn and develop skills in environmental planning and CAD software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation and formatting of landscaping and BNG and plans
  • Manage project data and documentation, ensuring all files are up-to-date and accessible
  • Organize data collection for projects and prepare summary reports
  • Communicate with clients and team members to support smooth project delivery
  • Utilize CAD software to assist in the preparation of technical plans (training provided)
  • Proofread and ensure consistency across all reports and plans

Requirements:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and basic document formatting
  • Comfortable working with complex software (training provided)
  • Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • An interest in environmental or landscape planning is a plus
