We are a solid, family-owned company (established 35 years ago) and because there are no share-holders to answer to things happen quickly around here! You will report to the Director and become part of our Senior Management Team. We are constantly reviewing, improving and reflecting upon our services to children and families and you will be a key part of this process as well as undertaking the Lead Safeguarding role for the company. Other aspects of the role include recruitment, development and mentoring of our fabulous nursery managers and their teams and ensuring Ofsted compliance throughout the company. A sound knowledge of the EYFS and a commitment to outstanding SEN practice are required. Experience of managing multi-sites is preferred, although an exceptionally experienced nursery manager with a proven track record may also be considered. Please note that we are a Montessori group - we will provide Montessori training - and you will need wellies as some of our nurseries include Forest Schools! Clean driving licence essential as much of your time will involve visiting our nurseries.
Our nurseries, which are all graded 'Outstanding' by Ofsted, are close to Bury St. Edmunds, within easy reach of Cambridge. Suffolk Safer Recruitment Guidelines apply, DBS and references will be checked.
