The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead refurbishment projects valued between 5 million and 8 million. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of site operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day site operations and ensure the smooth progression of the project.
- Oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and direct staff, ensuring all work is completed to the required standards.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a culture of safety on-site.
- Maintain clear communication with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, addressing any delays or issues proactively.
- Manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks.
About You:
- Proven experience managing refurbishment projects of similar scale (5 million to 8 million).
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
- Thorough understanding of construction processes, health and safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- A CSCS card, SMSTS, and First Aid certification are essential.
