Reed Cambridge Business Support is working with a local charity that is dedicated to helping people benefit from the companionship of animals. They are looking for an Office Administrator to provide comprehensive administrative support to their team and CEO.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Provide a wide range of administrative support including managing the website, and overseeing database management.
  • Answer telephone calls, create records, and enter data accurately and promptly.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, clients, and contractors, ensuring any service shortfalls are addressed.
  • Maintain and improve effective systems and database records for accurate and timely information provision.
  • Manage IT contracts and maintain all office equipment.
  • Regularly review, update, and efficiently store all charity documentation and policies.
  • Support the recruitment, screening, and induction of new staff and office volunteers.
  • Provide project support as defined by the CEO, including research, administrative tasks, and monitoring plans.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience in an administrative or business/office support role.
  • Proven ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workloads.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a high degree of attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of data protection regulations and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Desirable: Experience in a charity setting, producing promotional materials, and website editing.
