Reed Practice are delighted to be partnering once again with a client who are one of East Anglia’s most reputable regional chartered accountancy firms, this time to recruit a Payroll Administrator for their north Cambridgeshire office.

As a key member of the payroll team, you will support the Manager and Assistant Manager, managing your own portfolio of clients, with varying deadlines and frequencies, providing a payroll service of the highest calibre.

Tasks include –

  • Managing the progress of payroll processing and payments through the tax cycle
  • Developing your technical knowledge utilising the sources available to you
  • Ensure you receive and process the payroll runs to the deadlines as well as pension uploads
  • Providing expert assistance and guidance to clients and colleagues
  • Ensuring the payroll service to clients with appropriate explanations

Due to the nature of this post, and the wide range of needs of the clients, it is highly desirable to have working either in an accounting firm’s payroll team, or a bureau, at some point in your career.
