Neway International is looking for Production Team Leaders to join our client’s fast-paced ready meal site in Newmarket. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a production team and ensure high-quality results.

Position Overview:

As a Production Team Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring that daily production targets are met and that the team operates effectively. During the training period, you will start on the multi-skilled rate of £12.94 per hour. Once the training is successfully completed, you will transition to the full Team Leader role at £15.03 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a team of around 10 production staff
  • Ensure production targets are achieved, maintaining quality standards
  • Oversee daily production activities and troubleshoot issues
  • Uphold health and safety standards, maintaining a clean work environment
  • Drive continuous improvement within the production process

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work rotating shifts (06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
