I am supporting a great client based in Gloucestershire looking for an experienced Accountant to join their team in a brand-new role on a permanent full-time basis.

Salary is dependent on experience but ranging from 35,000pa - 42,000pa. The role is full time on site but offering fantastic benefits such as free on-site parking, fantastic pension and life insurance.

It is beneficial if successful candidates have previous experience in costing and ideally from a Manufacturing/Logistics/Retail industry background.

Responsibilities as an Accountant:

• Preparation of weekly and monthly supplier payment runs.
• Performing credit control function including resolution of outstanding queries.
• Assist with purchasing and raising of purchase orders.
• Preparation of month end Management Accounts.
• Submission of quarterly VAT returns.

Requirements:

• AAT L4 Qualified or qualified by experience with extensive experience.
• Experience with Sage50.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office/Excel.
