In addition to private healthcare and pension, holidays are generous at between 30 and 33 to start, the hybrid job on offer allows you to spend up to 4 days per week working from home, although more office time is sensible initially, so you should still live within a reasonable commute of Milton Keynes, plus:

  • Flexibility on starting between 8 and 9am and finishing 4.30 to 5.30
  • Profit share / bonus, payable up to twice per year and can add 7% to 12% on salary
  • Regular pay reviews and ongoing career development

The job can be hired between Accountant, through to Client Manager level, so anyone from part-qualified (ACCA / ACA or AAT), through to qualified or "qualified by experience" accountants with proven experience gained from working in practice are encouraged to apply.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

  • To provide timely completion of statutory accounts and related services to clients
  • Manage or help to manage a portfolio of clients to ensure the timely completion of statutory accounts, compliance-based tasks and other advisory requests.
  • Completion of bookkeeping records, management accounts, statutory accounts, and advisory requests.

OTHER TASKS WHICH COULD BE INCLUDED, DEPENDENT ON YOUR EXPERIENCE INCLUDE:

• Accounting assignments for clients

• Prepare Statutory Accounts

• Review work prepared by trainees

• Review tax computations, VAT returns.

• Develop client relationships, so that you can advise and look for opportunities to extend the services offered

• Work on ad hoc projects
