Summary:

As an Account Manager at Utility People, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships while ensuring their recruitment needs are met. You will manage the full recruitment cycle, from understanding client hiring requirements to sourcing, screening, and placing top talent. In addition to recruitment, you will focus on client retention, business development, and expanding our network to drive growth and enhance service delivery.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage the full recruitment process, from client onboarding and job brief analysis to candidate sourcing, screening, and successful placement
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships to understand hiring needs and priorities
  • Attending industry events and conferences to promote our services and build our brand
  • Source and screen candidates through various channels such as job boards, LinkedIn, social media and referrals utilising Boolean search techniques
  • Provide ongoing support and communication to both candidates and clients throughout the recruitment process
  • Coordinate interviews, assessments, and feedback sessions between candidates and clients, ensuring a seamless recruitment experience for all parties involved
  • Build customer relationships with both new and existing clients in a competitive market through a variety of channels including networking and exhibition events
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate interactions, job specifications, and client communications using our internal systems

Skills and Experience required:

  • Previous experience in recruitment, preferably within the Energy, Water, or Utilities sectors
  • Strong understanding of the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing to placement
  • Proficiency in Boolean search techniques and candidate sourcing
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with candidates, clients, and colleagues
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a proactive approach
  • Proven success in meeting and exceeding recruitment targets
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently from home

Role: Account Manager (Recruitment Energy/Utilities)

Location: Remote - typically one day per week in our Newport Pagnell office

Salary: £28,000 - £34,000 DOE + commission + benefits
