Location: Newport Pagnell, Buckinghamshire (MK16)

Shift: Monday-Friday, with opportunity for overtime

Salary: £37,000+ per annum

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Licence required: Class 2 (C)

We are recruiting HGV Class 2 Car Transporter Drivers for our client based near Newport Pagnell. This role involves delivering prestige vehicles across the UK for events, press, and dealerships. The successful applicant would be assigned a Mercedes Actros enclosed 2-car transporter and play a key part in representing the company to its high-profile customers including Porsche.

Preference given to HGV Class-2 Drivers with Car Transporter experience (new car and recovery drivers) however those with a clean and stable Class-C record and desire to be trained will be considered. This is a long-term career position with a secure and progressive company.

Role Responsibilities

• Safely load, secure, and deliver vehicles to various locations.
• Adhere to all driver’s hours and tachograph regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service in this client-facing role.
• Maintain a professional appearance and represent the brand positively.
• Shift patterns predominantly run on a Monday to Friday basis, however, the ideal candidate would be willing to work weekends and nights out.

Role Requirements

• Valid Class C Licence, CPC, and Tacho Card, held for at least 2 years.
• Zero points on licence.
• Strong knowledge of road safety and commercial driving best practices.
• Experience with car transporters is advantageous.
• Live in commuting distance of depot at MK16 near Lathbury.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle low-clearance vehicles carefully.
• Good time management, communication, and IT skills.
• Willingness to undergo DBS checks and pass drug/alcohol tests.
