The Role

There is now a need for an Event Project Director to join their delivery team. Working at a senior level this role will have responsibility for 2 direct reports as well as the delivery of a diverse portfolio of events. Duties include:

-          Leading, nurturing and growing client relationships

-          Managing varied events from briefing stage through to onsite delivery

-          Preparing client facing proposals in line with a brief

-          Overseeing project scheduling, timelines and deadlines

-          Briefing and working with production, creative and guest management teams

-          Managing supplier briefings and relationships

-          Owning event budgets - often multicurrency

-          Driving event delivery onsite both in the UK and internationally

-          Line management of a small team including appraisals, KPI setting, etc.

-          Leading larger project teams including freelance support

The Candidate

Candidates must have established event agency experience with a proven ability to manage a variety of both small and large scale B2B event projects. An expertise across client management and a background in both UK based and international event delivery are key. Existing line management experience would be beneficial however candidates who have managed project teams may also be considered. Any experience working with automotive clients would also be advantageous.
