Our client is a friendly and supportive small practice in Risca.

Responsibilities:

  • Full accounts preparation and submission to Companies House and HMRC.
  • Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
  • Prepare tax returns and assist with tax planning.
  • Utilize accounting software to manage financial transactions and reporting.
  • Preparation of VAT returns.
  • Bookkeeping
  • CIS

Requirements:

  • ACCA or ACA Qualified, or qualified by experience.
  • Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software, such as Sage, TaxCalc, QuickBooks, VT or Xero.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial recordkeeping.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in an accountancy practice (minimum 5 years).

Full Time - 37.5 hours/week

Hours: 08:30 to 17:00 (Mon-Thu) 08:30 to 14:30 (Fri)
