Job Purpose
- Support a varied portfolio, working closely with Managers and Partners to ensure expectations, deadlines, and budgets are met
- Undertake audit engagements, including site visits in South Wales
- Run quarterly VAT returns
- Supervise junior auditors, including workflow management, reviewing work, and identifying knowledge gaps
- Lead quality control across engagements, championing service excellence
- Build strong relationships with clients, proactively handling queries and acting as their go-to advisor
- Research and interpret changes to audit and accounting regulations
- Champion your own professional development, regularly undertaking training opportunities

Job Requirements
- AAT / ACCA / ACA qualified or part-qualified
- Previous audit experience within practice
- Previous experience in the preparation of statutory accounts
- Strong working knowledge of relevant software including Microsoft Office
- Working knowledge of UK GAAP (including FRS 102)
- A hands-on team player who can also work autonomously
- An enthusiastic, can-do attitude towards problem-solving
- Self-motivated and able to manage your own deadlines
- Highly organised, reliable and professional
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- A drive to progress within the firm
