Role Responsibilities

• Preparing and reviewing personal and corporate tax returns
• Advising clients on tax planning strategies and opportunities
• Assisting clients with HMRC enquiries and investigations
• Managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring all deadlines are met
• Keeping up to date with changes in tax legislation and advising clients accordingly
• Supporting junior team members by providing guidance and reviewing their work
• Liaising with clients and colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery

Candidate Requirements

• A professional qualification such as ATT or CTA (or equivalent), or be studying towards one
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a tax role within an accountancy practice
• A strong understanding of tax compliance and advisory services
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple clients effectively
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to build trusted client relationships
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail
• Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office applications
