Job Title: Accounts Assistant Location: Newport Salary: £13.50 - £14.00 per hour Hours: Full time (office based) 09.00am-5:30 Monday to Friday. Here at The Recruitment Co, we are currently recruiting an Accounts Assistant to work for a company in Newport on a full time, this could be a temp to perm contract for the right person. The Accounts Assistant position would suit a candidate who is confident handling large volumes of invoices, working with excel frequently and building good working business relationships.Previous experience of working within a Purchase Ledger position and using Sage accounts Line 50 is preferential.Tasks

  • Coding and processing invoices, including matching of invoices to purchase orders
  • Prompt resolution of supplier queries
  • Ensuring the timely reconciliation of supplier accounts
  • Processing invoices on a timely basis
  • Ensuring documents are scanned to the central filing system
  • Assisting with CIS and PAYE payment processes
  • Vehicle Monitoring
  • Assisting with HR duties
  • Any other ad-hoc duties

Essential:

  • Confident handling large volumes of data
  • Experience of Microsoft Office
  • Experience of Sage Accounts line 50
  • Experience of Purchase Ledger and raising purchase orders
  • CIS Knowledge
