Job Vacancy:AdministratorLocation: NewportPay Rate: £13.13About the Role:We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our Supply Point administration team. As a Supply Point Administrator, you will be responsible for creating, validating, and maintaining Meter Point Reference Numbers (MPRNs) and handling queries from customers and other industry stakeholders. You will also support the theft of gas process and be involved in various administrative tasks within the gas industry.Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain Meter Point Reference Numbers (MPRNs), ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Process and address requests and queries from customers, the connections team, and other industry parties.
  • Assist with the theft of gas process.
  • Audit work and ensure high-quality and efficient outcomes by identifying and addressing errors.
  • Provide feedback and support in error resolution.
  • Work independently as well as part of a collaborative team to meet targets.
  • Ensure all tasks are completed with a customer-focused approach, dealing with complaints and queries effectively.
  • Communicate with internal and external customers, including office staff, gas engineers, suppliers, and industry bodies.
Skills and Experience:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel (ability to work with reports and spreadsheets).
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for customer service and stakeholder management.
  • Knowledge of SAP is desirable but not required.
