A Day in the Life of a CPN:

Join our team as a Community Psychiatric Nurse and make a real difference in the lives of individuals struggling with substance misuse. Your core responsibilities include:

  • Conducting mental health assessments and risk evaluations for individuals with drug and alcohol dependencies.

  • Developing and implementing personalised care and treatment plans.

  • Medication management and participation in duty rotas.

  • Carrying a caseload and providing continuity of care.

  • Overseeing students and supporting their learning and development.

  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including addiction specialists and social workers.

  • Maintaining accurate and detailed clinical records in line with compliance standards.

Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Current and valid NMC registration and PIN.

  • Prior experience working within drug and alcohol services is essential.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

  • Commitment to delivering high-quality mental health & nursing care.

  • Part remote working available.
