Southern Health are currently looking for a Physiotherapy assistant to join their Orthopaedic Physiotherapy Team at St Mary鈥檚 Hospital.

Within this role, you will act as Physiotherapy Assistant practitioner within the physiotherapy team covering specific groups of patients, making assessment of progress and providing advice to patients/carers in a variety of settings.

You will have a significant impact on the wider economy in reducing; length of stay in hospital, admissions and re-admissions, residential placements through both social care and continuing health care, domiciliary care packages as well as improving health outcomes.

What you鈥檒l need:

  • A-Level qualifications or equivalent (e.g. NVQ 3); Health & Social Care NVQ level III or above experience
  • Care certificate completion within the first 6-12 months of employment if new to the Trust
  • English and Maths GCE/GCSE or equivalent Grade C or above or equivalent qualification to demonstrate numeracy and literacy
