Senior Electronics Design Engineer

An exciting Hybrid opportunity is available for a Senior Electronics Design Engineer to join a small R&D team based in Newport, Isle of Wight.

You will be working on new R&D products and will be a key member of the development team, working on the design of exciting products for a wide range of applications in the defence sector.

Key responsibilities of the Senior Electronics Design Engineer job:

• Take customer requirements and work with the wider team to establish how to develop new products
• Design custom electronic boards, verify and test
• Liaise with customers to assist with integration and problem resolution

Key skills/experience required for the Senior Electronics Design Engineer job:

• Proven significant experience in electronics design – analogue, digital and PCB design
• Board design including schematic capture and PCB layout
• Experience designing with microprocessors/microcontrollers, memory devices, programmable logic, power supplies, wireless communications

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Electronics Design Engineer to gain exposure to design for a variety of industry sectors. This is a hybrid job offering flexible working. 

The role is commutable from Southampton, Hampshire and Portsmouth, Hampshire.

Must be able to obtain Security Clearance.
