A Construction Manager is required by a fast-growing structural steel contractor to oversee multiple construction projects across five different sites in Newport.
Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Salary: 70,000 per annum + car allowance
Parking: Available on-site
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations on multiple construction sites.
- Provide leadership and supervision to site teams, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Address and resolve any on-site issues and delays promptly.
- Monitor project progress and update senior management regularly.
- Assist in resource planning and allocation across multiple sites.
Qualifications:
- SMSTS (Site Manager Safety Training Scheme) certification
- First Aid certification
- Appointed Person's Ticket, Crane Supervisor's Ticket, or Slinger's Ticket (desirable but not essential)
