We are currently recruiting for a perm role- 3 x Machine Operators based in Newport

Our client is a busy manufacturing company and as such, they are looking to add new members of staff to their team.

  • £11.69ph
  • £45 Attendance Allowance (if all hours worked in one week)
  • 4 on/4off (6am – 6pm / 6pm – 6am) 2 days, 2 nights
  • 12 Hour Shifts
  • Immediate start

Job Specification

The role will involve/ require:

  • Inspection and packaging of various plastic goods
  • A high level of concentration to ensure consistency and fault monitoring.
  • If required, machines could be operated on a semi-automatic basis
  • Manual handling to include, stacking pallets, wrapping and moving pallets on pallet trolleys
  • General Cleaning around workstation.
  • Some products may require the use of a cleaning solvent to clean mouldings
  • Responsible to fulfil and comply with the company health and safety policies
  • Responsible for running more than one machine (when trained)

Essential:

  • Previous experience working in factory environment or a similar role
  • Own transport due to location
  • Safety Boots are needed
