Job description: Are you experienced in the world of production work? Are you a Machine Operative with experience in Injection Moulding? We’re recruiting Machine Operatives for a family run business based in Crospenmaen.
Ideal skills and experience: Machine experience is essential – you will learn on the job and all training will be provided. Physical Stamina is essential due the role requiring manual handling. Strong attention to detail is key as you will be checking goods, as well as a thoroughness to keep records up to date and well documented.
Key responsibilities: As a Machine Operative, your duties will involve day to day responsibilities on a production floor, including:
- Inspection and packaging of various plastic goods.
- A high level of concentration to ensure consistency and fault monitoring.
- If required, machines could be operated on a semi-automatic basis.
- Manual handling to include, stacking pallets, wrapping and moving pallets on pallet trolleys.
- General Cleaning around workstation.
- Some products may require the use of a cleaning solvent to clean mouldings.
- Responsible to fulfil and comply with the company health and safety policies.
- Responsible for running more than one machine (when trained)
Hours of work:
- 4 on/4off (6am – 6pm / 6pm – 6am) 2 days, 2 nights
- 12 hours- you will be paid for the full 12 hours
