About the Role

The Senior QA Manager (Nights) will play a key role in maintaining and improving food safety and quality standards during night shifts. This newly created role strengthens our technical oversight across both high-care and low-care areas, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of QA professionals to ensure food safety and compliance
  • Manage internal audits, corrective actions, and continuous compliance improvements
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to drive food safety and quality initiatives
  • Identify and mitigate food safety risks, implementing preventative measures
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to track quality performance
  • Ensure adherence to retailer standards and manage customer concerns effectively

About You

This role is ideal for a proactive and experienced QA professional with strong leadership skills and the ability to manage high-pressure situations.

Key Skills

  • Proven experience in a management role within the Technical function of a food manufacturing business
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, HACCP, and BRC standards
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions during night shifts
  • Food Safety Level 3 & HACCP Level 3 (Level 4 preferred)

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday, 22:30-06:30 (flexible start and finish)
