About The RoleWe are looking for Site Services Operatives to join our team with an immediate start, you will play a key role in the daily running of the site also assisting with project delivery. This is a forward-facing role with a high degree of customer interaction where you will work as a team with the client and other embedded contractors. You will join an established team delivering cleaning, grounds maintenance, security and site services to the client, your role will be on the site services team reporting directly to the site service supervisor and the client.Key Responsibilities:

  • You will be required to undertake a range of small-scale repairs including the following trades: Basic Plumbing, Carpentry, Painting/Decorating, Plastering, Wall and Floor Tiling and Roofing.
  • Ensure you arrive for work on time in a clean and presentable manner, wearing the correct uniform, footwear and ID badge.
  • Attend all training sessions when requested.
  • Follow the correct methods and procedures.
  • Good knowledge of health and safety requirements, considering yourself, the team and those around you.
  • Ability to adapt to changing client's needs.
  • Ability to use appropriate access equipment.
  • Take responsibility for ensuring tools are maintained and fit for purpose.
  • Good knowledge of health and safety requirements.

Knowledge / Experience / Qualifications:

  • Qualified to NVQ2 level in Building Maintenance, Multi Trade repair and refurbishment operations or demonstrate equivalent trade experience. Previous experience of working within the social housing sector is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent customer service skills and commitment to always deliver high quality standards
  • Adhere to site safety rules, including always wearing appropriate personal protective equipment
  • A good understanding of any of the trades listed and can competently carry out repairs to a good standard.: Plastering, Plumbing Carpentry, Decorating,
  • Full UK Driving License
  • Valid CSCS card
  • Have good communication skills
  • Be reliable and trustworthy

· Effective time management

  • Have a strong work ethic and take pride in what you do
  • Own tools and van not required as provided by client
