PSR Solutions are seeking skilled Carpenter's to join our client's team on an exciting and unique prison project in the Isle of Wight. This role offers an opportunity to work on a high-security site, delivering critical carpentry work that ensures the safety and functionality of the facility.
Key Responsibilities:

Performing a wide range of carpentry tasks including, but not limited to, constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures.
Working with wood, metal, and other materials to carry out tasks such as framing, building partitions, and installing doors and windows.
Interpreting blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate and precise construction.
Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations, especially considering the high-security environment.
Collaborating with other tradespeople and site management to ensure smooth project progress.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Carpenter, preferably with experience on high-security projects or similar environments.
Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.
Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers, etc.).
High attention to detail with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid certifications and qualifications in carpentry.
