Your Role as Sous Chef:
In this position, you will be more than just a Chef – you'll be a key part of the management and development of the kitchen brigade. Responsibilities include:
- Crafting Fresh, High-Quality Dishes: You'll be cooking from scratch, maintaining the high standards expected in a high standard kitchen.
- Team Leadership: Play a pivotal role in mentoring and managing the kitchen team, ensuring a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Operational Excellence: Assist with stock control, ordering, and maintaining impeccable kitchen hygiene standards.
- Quality Control: Uphold food safety regulations and ensure consistent quality in every dish that leaves the kitchen.
What We're Looking For:
- Passion and Creativity: A genuine love for food and cooking is a must, as well as the desire to progress personally.
- High Volume Experience: You must have experience working in a high-volume environment, with a comprehensive knowledge of kitchen operations and proven track record in successfully working with a large kitchen brigade.
- Leadership Skills: The ability to lead, manage, and inspire a kitchen team, along with strong communication and organisational skills.
- Commitment to Excellence: Attention to detail, consistency, and a strong work ethic are essential to maintaining the quality and reputation of the kitchen.
