This opportunity offers the chance to work within a high skilled engineering team and provide engineering support to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage small capital projects from conception and ensure the approval, design, procurement, construction and commissioning of capital projects, ensuring that designs are safe, efficient, maintainable and controllable.
  • Accountable for ensuring that assigned projects comply with all relevant internal & external standards/requirements.
  • Provide the Project Team Manager (or designee) with expenditure forecasts for assigned projects.
  • Undertake the chemical/process engineering design for assigned projects.
  • Actively undertake safety participation activities and assigned site safety actions.
  • Provide occasional incident/accident investigation support.
  • Ensuring process safety plant information is kept up to date.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate will be a degree qualified engineer, preferably with a degree in Chemical Engineering with industrial placement year.

Key experience would ideally include -

  • Project Management skills.
  • Working in multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Chemical/process engineering design.
  • Experience within heavy industry preferred
