What you will be doing:

  • Managing small capital projects: From concept stages right through the approval, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning stages
  • Contributing to large projects: Working as part of a multi-disciplined engineering function on large-scale CAPEX investments.
  • Ensuring safety: Making sure that designs are safe, efficient, maintainable, and controllable.
  • Accountability: Ensuring that assigned projects comply with all relevant internal and external standards/requirements.
  • Design responsibility: Undertaking the chemical/process engineering design for assigned projects.

What you will need:

  • A degree-level qualification in Chemical Engineering
  • Project management skills
  • Industry experience in a heavy industrial setting
  • Chemical/process design experience

Please note: The company are also happy to consider applications from Graduate Chemical Engineers looking for their first opportunity in industry.

What you will receive:

A competitive salary (dependent on experience) + pension (up to 9% company contribution), private medical cover, potential annual bonus, and 45 days of holiday in total if you opt into the compressed working hours scheme (including Bank Holidays).

Your working hours

You will work days Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm, or 7am-4pm if you opt into the compressed working hours scheme.
