I'm looking for someone to work at a growing company, that makes a real difference to the people of the UK. This is an ideal role for someone looking to start a career in IT, that has a real passion for all things tech. You'll have the opportunity to learn directly from an experienced IT manager, and over time learn and progress your knowledge in the field.
You'll have a varied day that can include any of the below:
- Act as the first point of contact for users' IT concerns, addressing hardware, software, and Office 365 difficulties.
- Follow and enforce IT security policies, participate in security awareness training, and help protect company data.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding activities, including setting up accounts and retrieving hardware.
- Manage and administer core systems, including user access and security settings.
- Collaborate with Super Users to document support processes and develop knowledge base resources.
- Engage with users to understand their roles and identify how IT can enhance their productivity.
- Assist in IT projects under the supervision of the IT Manager.
- Perform troubleshooting and maintenance on IT equipment, including laptops, servers, and mobile devices.
- Provide basic IT training and support to users.
- Assist with IT procurement processes.
- Stay current with IT trends and best practices to continually improve support services.
Requirements:
- A passion for IT and a desire to learn about various aspects of IT infrastructure and support.
- Basic IT knowledge, including computer hardware, software, and operating systems.
- Basic understanding of IT security principles.
- Happy for occasional UK travel for work purposes
- 5 days a week on site
- A full UK driving licence is necessary.
