Involve Recruitment are seeking a dedicated and skilled Site Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position requires strong technical knowledge, particularly in electrical systems, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders on-site.

Responsibilities

  • Setting out drainage (essential)
  • Manage and supervise construction activities on-site to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to facilitate project development and resolve any technical issues that may arise.
  • Conduct regular inspections of work progress and quality, providing feedback and guidance to team members as necessary.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including reports on site activities, progress updates, and compliance checks.
  • Ensure that all electrical installations meet industry standards and regulations, conducting tests as required.
  • Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to coordinate the delivery of materials and services essential for project completion.
  • Assist in the preparation of project budgets and schedules, monitoring expenditures to ensure financial efficiency.

Requirements

  • A degree in Engineering or a related field is essential
  • Proven experience in site engineering with experience setting out drainage
  • With kit preferred but not essential
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, safety protocols, and relevant legislation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
  • Effective communication skills for liaising with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using engineering software and tools relevant to site management.
  • A proactive approach to work with a strong attention to detail.
