Are you an experienced Building Control Surveyor looking to take the next step in your career? Were seeking a Senior Building Control Surveyor to lead and oversee major projects, provide expert guidance, and ensure compliance with building regulations.


What Youll Do:

?? Lead and support a team of Building Control Surveyors, allocating work and overseeing decisions.
?? Manage major projects, including large commercial and industrial developments.
?? Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including fire engineering design solutions.
?? Represent the council in legal matters related to enforcement and public safety.
?? Promote Local Authority Building Control and develop partnerships with key stakeholders.
?? Be on call for emergency dangerous structure incidents.


What Youll Need:

? Significant post-qualification experience in Building Control.
? Full membership (or working towards) of RICS, MCABE, or equivalent.
? Competency Class 2 qualification (or working towards Class 2f).
? Strong knowledge of building regulations, enforcement, and quality management systems.
? Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
? A full UK driving licence.
