About the Role

We are seeking Communications Officer to join our team at Rogerstone. This role is a blend of communications and engagement with a focus on communications for all our site as well as various event organisation. You will be responsible for managing the site app, updating all communications, and engaging with various stakeholders across the site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Update notice boards and create weekly newsletters
  • Manage email communications and update the site app
  • Arrange events and activities for the site
  • Visit schools and the community to raise awareness about the industry and discuss future careers

About You

As a Communications Officer you are a confident and personable individual and comfortable speaking to a multitude of stakeholders. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can manage and lead events independently. This role is ideal for a graduate looking to secure their first position in communications and events based role.

Key Skills

  • Proficient in IT skills and excellent writing abilities
  • Strong administrative and communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Stakeholder management experience
  • Driving Licence and own a car

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in event organisation
  • Familiarity with Canva
