Job Description: Flannery Plant Hire is currently seeking a motivated and diligent Jet Washer to join our team. The Jet Washer will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and functionality of our fleet of construction equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, dumpers, and more. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring that our equipment is well-maintained and ready for use on various construction sites.
Responsibilities:
- Operate jet washing equipment to clean construction machinery thoroughly.
- Inspect machinery for any damage or defects before and after washing.
- Remove dirt, grime, and debris from machinery surfaces, ensuring they are clean and presentable.
- Use appropriate cleaning agents and tools to effectively remove stubborn stains or build-up.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure personal safety and the safety of others.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the washing area and equipment storage.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs identified during the cleaning process to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with other tasks and duties as needed, including basic maintenance and yard organization.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a similar role, preferably within the construction or plant hire industry.
- Knowledge of operating jet washing equipment and basic maintenance procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently and independently, as well as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks that involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions effectively.
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends or overtime as needed.
