We're currently recruiting for an experienced Track Maintenance Team Leader to help ensure the smooth and safe operation of the rail network, delivering essential services to millions of passengers and freight users across the UK.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead and motivate a high-performing team to maintain, inspect, and repair the track network.
  • Establish safety arrangements and ensure compliance with safe working practices.
  • Ensure all assets, vehicles, tools, and materials are in top condition and ready for use.
  • Collaborate with contractors and oversee quality control of work.
  • Play a hands-on role in fault fixing, inspection, and maintenance to keep the railway network running smoothly.

Must Have Criteria:

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant subject or equivalent experience.
  • Full UK driving license (Category B).
  • Ability to work flexibly across shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • To be successful, you must have at least 5 years of experience working on a hands on environment on the track.
  • ES (Engineering Supervisor) Competency
