Our client, based in South Wales, is currently recruiting for a Project Manager/Surveyorto complete planned works projects across their Housing stock. Permanent and circa. 6 month temporary to permanent options are available.

  • Salary for permanent role: £41,403 per annum
  • Rate for temporary to permanent role: Up to £275 per day

The ideal candidate will have experience surveying for and project managing planned work projects, within a Housing setting and strong CDM knowledge.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Surveying for and project managing planned projects, including kitchen & bathroom refits, WHQS works, reroofing and full refurbishments of value of £100k - £5m
  • Creating specifications and contractor management, including post work reviews
  • Overseeing project documentation, schedules and specifications for works
  • Ensure all relevant statutory regulations are adhered to (including: CDM Regulations, Planning and Building Regulations Party Wall Act, Control of Asbestos at Work Regulations, etc)

Experience required:

  • Experience required in Social Housing
  • Experience in surveys and specifications of work
  • Experience completing works with high value budgets and scopes

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • CDM Regulations understanding
  • Planning and Building Regulations

Rewards and Benefits:

  • Hybrid working - Up to 2 days per week from home
  • 27 days annual leave, rising to 30 days after three years’ service

Working hours:

  • 37 hours a week
  • Monday - Friday, flexible start/finish times
