Involve Recruitment are in search of a document controller for our client a construction subcontractor. The Document Controller will play a key role in organizing and managing project documentation while supporting the implementation of Procore. No prior experience with Procore is necessary, as full training will be provided. However, a good understanding of construction industry forms and permits is essential.
This role will have reduced working hours. Most likely finish by 3:00pm each day, start time to be confirmed. Hours as well as finish and start time will be flexible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Document Management:
- Maintain an organized system for project documentation, ensuring all files are easily accessible.
- Manage version control and distribute documents to relevant stakeholders.
- Procore Implementation Support:
- Assist in setting up Procore to suit project needs, under the guidance of the implementation team.
- Support staff in learning and using the system effectively.
- Compliance:
- Ensure permits, forms, and documentation meet industry and regulatory standards.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation.
- Coordination:
- Work closely with project teams and contractors to ensure smooth document flow.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Previous experience as a Document Controller, ideally in the construction or related industry.
- Familiarity with industry-standard forms and permits.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic familiarity with document management systems.
- Willingness to learn new software systems like Procore.
