Involve Recruitment are in search of a document controller for our client a construction subcontractor. The Document Controller will play a key role in organizing and managing project documentation while supporting the implementation of Procore. No prior experience with Procore is necessary, as full training will be provided. However, a good understanding of construction industry forms and permits is essential.

This role will have reduced working hours. Most likely finish by 3:00pm each day, start time to be confirmed. Hours as well as finish and start time will be flexible.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Document Management:
    • Maintain an organized system for project documentation, ensuring all files are easily accessible.
    • Manage version control and distribute documents to relevant stakeholders.
  • Procore Implementation Support:
    • Assist in setting up Procore to suit project needs, under the guidance of the implementation team.
    • Support staff in learning and using the system effectively.
  • Compliance:
    • Ensure permits, forms, and documentation meet industry and regulatory standards.
    • Support audits by providing necessary documentation.
  • Coordination:
    • Work closely with project teams and contractors to ensure smooth document flow.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Previous experience as a Document Controller, ideally in the construction or related industry.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard forms and permits.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and basic familiarity with document management systems.
  • Willingness to learn new software systems like Procore.
