Experienced Teaching Assistant - Long term role in Newport.
Academics are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join a large, welcoming and vibrant school in Newport on a long term basis.
This exciting opportunity will be running from February until July and offers the right candidate with a fantastic chance to make a real, positive difference in young children's lives by facilitating a warm classroom setting.
About the Teaching Assistant role
- Start Date - February 2025
- End date - July 2025
- Pay rate: £85 per day
- Location - Newport
- Hours: Full time, term-time only.
Key Responsibilities Of A Teaching Assistant Include:
- Supporting the classroom teacher in the planning, preparation and delivery of learning materials.
- Supporting small groups of students 1:1 with basic literacy, numeracy and reading skills.
- Assistaing with general classroom duties.
- Encouraging pupil engagement and monitoring/tracking their progress throughout the year.
