Our client, a leading provider of automation and control solutions, is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to oversee the delivery of detailed electrical design work packages. Reporting to the Director of Engineering and Innovation, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

- Collaborate with Business Development and Applications teams to develop robust estimation norms and provide pre-sale technical support.
- Work with Project Managers to ensure solid delivery plans for all Electrical Engineering and Hardware Design work packages.
- Efficiently allocate and utilize Electrical Engineering and Hardware Design resources.
- Develop and maintain Electrical Design processes and procedures, ensuring compliance.
- Maintain supplier and subcontractor relationships to ensure resource availability.
- Create and improve internal standards, templates, and best practices.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing management to align processes and standards.
- Recruit, train, and develop Electrical Engineering and Hardware Design Engineers.
- Monitor team output and audit work quality to ensure compliance and innovation.
- BEng in Electrical Engineering.
- Subject Matter Expert in electrical control systems.
- Strong team player with initiative, excellent communication skills, and situational adaptability.
- Proactive, organised, and hands-on problem solver.
