What you will be doing as the Grid Electrical Engineer:

You'll play a critical role in delivering large-scale green energy solutions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing grid connection and HV workstreams to ensure timely and safe project delivery.
  • Managing all electrical and control system interfaces between National Grid, the balance of the plant contractor, and the supply contract.
  • Driving grid compliance to meet operational milestones and ensure project success.
  • Supervising installation works, system testing, and commissioning.
  • Supporting the development of future projects and assisting with technical due diligence.

What you'll need to apply for the Grid Electrical Engineer position:

  • A degree in electrical engineering.
  • Experience with HV, ideally 132kV and 275kV.
  • Experience in contractor management.
  • Renewable energy experience is an advantage.

Your remuneration package:

Competitive salary based on experience, 25 holidays, plus bank holidays, 6% pension contribution, bonus up to 20%, health insurance, death in service at three times salary.
