Electrical Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Electrical Maintenance Supervisor you will support the site maintenance effort carrying out typical maintenance activities including:
- Responding to plant breakdowns as required to diagnose and resolve faults of an instrumentation or electrical nature.
- Installation and maintenance of 415V AC motors and associated control equipment.
- Installing, commissioning, and maintaining safety, control, and measurement systems. Level, pressure and temperature measurements etc.
- Carry out calibration and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems as per procedural documentation.
- Maintenance of hazardous area equipment in line with the DSEAR regulations.
- General electrical installation work including lighting and cable management.
Electrical Maintenance Technician Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
- Possess a time served qualification in an electrical/instrument discipline.
- Will have experience in fault finding using a systematic approach to get to route cause efficiently and effectively.
Will ideally understand and correctly use the following systems:
- SAP to complete assigned maintenance, review and update equipment history.
- Beamex CMX software to carry out and record instrument calibrations.
- Drawing database to access, understand and update site electrical and control drawings when required.
- Microsoft office for general administrative tasks.
