Role: Contract Electronics Engineer

Rate: £50 - £60 per hour
Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Electronics Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with tight deadlines. This role demands exceptional skills in electronic design, circuit analysis, practical implementation, and PCB layout with Altium Designer.
Required Skills and Experience
- Electronic Design & Development: Design, develop, and prototype high-performance electronic systems under demanding timelines, ensuring quality and functionality are never compromised.
- PCB Layout: Produce complex, high-quality PCB layouts using Altium Designer, with a focus on optimizing designs for signal integrity, manufacturability, and cost under strict deadlines.
- Experience with 115 volts/ 400hz frequency hardware and systems.
- Experience in designing for manufacturing (DFM) and designing for test (DFT), particularly under fast development cycles.
- Knowledge of Aerospace compliance standards (DO160, Airbus ABD, Boeing D6) and experience with designing for EMC/EMI constraints on a tight timeline.
- Familiarity with embedded systems, microcontroller interfaces, and rapid prototyping tools.
